First things first... The winner of last month's Customer Creation Challenge is Kersten Brüggmann! Please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org Congratulations!!! Here are her three submissions.
Last week I was away on a little half holiday (still working on my iPad) in Bancroft, ON. We definitely lucked out as far as timing went. The trees were all hues of burgundy, red, orange, gold etc... So naturally, for October's sales I had to go with the season. Here are this month's discounted stamps...
Forest Floor 1 - $4.99
Mulberry Leaf - $4.99
Forest Floor 2 - $4.99
These stamps are designed to leave a negative imprint. The black area gets inked letting your background shine through the leaf/leaves. They work really well on colourful backgrounds. Here are some examples from Shirley Deatcher (DT).
In this one Shirley also used Acorn Faerie Set.
Lastly, here are some photos from my little adventure... Thought you might want to see the colours! And if you're ever in Bancroft, the Teddybear Bed and Breakfast is the place to be! Scrumptious breakfast ;) I ate like a Queen and was full for the rest of the day! Lol.
That's it for now! Bye bye :)
Congratulations Kersten, you've made some gorgeous cards with the Designs by Ryn stamps!ReplyDelete

Love those photos - awesome autumn colours!ReplyDelete
Well done Kirsten. What beautiful photos Ryn. The clear blue sky is a real backdrop for the vibrant colours of the leaves!ReplyDelete
Your new stamps are gorgeous! In fact, they all are! If you're ever looking for another DT member, I'm in for it!ReplyDelete
O, I didn't read well, they're on discountDelete
Gorgeous, Ryn - what beautiful leaf stamps, and what a clever idea, stamping the background and leaving the leaf so that the background shows through - sort of like reverse stencilling or masking. I love your photos of autumn trees, too. Stunning.ReplyDelete
Great cards I just love them , great colours and images!!!ReplyDelete
